March 24, 1997 (resuming foundation) by the Konrad-Henkel-Stiftung, the Gesellschaft von Freunden und Förderern
der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, the Warth u. Klein GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft,
Schwarz Pharma AG, the Düsseldorfer Messegesellschaft mbH NOWEA, the Price Waterhouse GmbH
Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, VEBA AG, the Bankenvereinigung Düsseldorf and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Winfried Hamel
among others

The establishment can primarily traced back to the initiative of former Dean of the Faculty of Economics,
Univ.-Prof. Dr. Winfried Hamel.

Foundation goal: 
Co-financing of the Chair for Company Auditing and Controlling as well as promotion of scientific projects of the Faculty
of Economics at Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf
