The Reinhard-Heynen- und Emmi-Heynen-Preis for Medical Research is an award for outstanding work or achievements by university scientists (HHU or UKD) in the fields of research within the HHU. 

The award was newly granted in 2024 for the first time. For 2026, there is a new competition starting.
