Universities are of inestimable value for society. Research and sciences are expected to constantly deliver new and better answers to future-relevant questions while education serves as a reliable drive for progress across the generations.

 

To accomplish this, universities need support. They need contact to public life in their city and region, lively exchange with the scientific community, financial scope. In short: universities need friends and sponsors. As for Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, these have been banded together in the GFFU since 1955. New “friends” are always welcome!
